sadly I wasn´t there in your bar and also never in Stirling. But I met last saturday Ted Christopher, great son of Scotland, at the Highlander-Pub in Nürnberg. One of the greatest gigs I ever was. Proud to met him there and talk to him. So my promise to him was to came to Stirling hopefully next year. Also make a visit at your bar. So my best wishes to you from Nürnberg Germany. Heinz

hi was in the scullery for lunch during the summer n had the haggis lasagne most amazing thing ive ever tasted and the salad n coleslaw was to die for, my mum had the mini breakfast which was enough to feed the five thousand, hope to come back soon n try the macaroni the next time was told that was great as well thanks again xx

Hey ya John, Pauline and the rest of the crew at Albion Bar!
Not sure if you remember us. But here is the story which could help...
We were in Stirling for one night, travelling around Scotland just before New Years (the night of December 29th). There were four of us, a New Zealand couple and an Australian couple. You were about to close your bar when we walked in and you so kindly stayed opened JUST FOR US!!!!! You gave us chippies and were just so very nice to us. Our first night in Scotland and we had such a brillant night - great first impressions thats for sure - reminded us of being home. We took a photo of you guys (and still plan to send this to you when I have a computer I can do this). You also took a photo of us if I remember correctly.
Just wanted to say hi and that we have not forgotten about your hospitality and have told a lot of our mates about that night. Thank you very much.
Hope you are all well. We will definitely call in when we are next in Stirling...hopefully that won't be too far away.

We have been so busy this week but as we sat down this evening with a glass of wine or two, as you do, we thought, where were we this time last week and the answer was....Stirling, and at about this time, in one of the friendliest pubs we have ever been in.
We have just had a nose around your web- site and decided to send this e-mail. Hope you had a good night last Thursday, we were really miffed to miss it but if we had not gone when we did we would probably still be with you now. We are intending to visit Scotland again very soon, and Stirling would seem to be the place to be, especially in the Albion Bar.
Please say Hello to Norma and Helen, and the person with the visitors book (we did not get his name, might have been something to do with the whisky, don't know what type of whisky that was but it was very nice.)

Dear Pauline,
I wanted to drop you a line to apologize for not coming in and saying goodbye! We had an absolutely wonderful time in Scotland, and especially at the Albion Bar with you! We made it back one more night (open-mic night) and had a really good time, but you had just left when we got there and we never saw you again. :(
After the wedding, which was on Thursday, we just had nothing left in us! We returned to Stirling late Friday evening and flew out of Glasgow Saturday morning. There's just never enough time!
The next time we're in Scotland, we will definitely plan on stopping in for a pint or two! Hello to Michael, Kirstin, John, and everybody for us!

on Friday March 4th, after a very long day flying in from Chicago we arrived in Stirling and stayed at the Munro Guesthouse up the street from you. It was our first visit to Scotland, though we are veteran European travellers. We got lazy and decided to hang out in the first place we found (as you are 5 doors from where we stayed it worked out well enough). Wanted to let you know that we had a great time and that the night we spent hanging out with your staff and clientelle was one of the best nights we had out out of the 8 nights we spent through Scotland. We're back home in Chicago now and truth be told, I would much rather be at the Albion with a nice pint of Tennents....thanks again folks!

Many, many thanks for making Hogmanay so welcoming for us! You can imagine our disappointment upon arriving in Stirling to discover that the Albion v Gretna match was off, having booked a hotel and arranged tickets for your 'do. However, in retrospect we were so glad it was postponed.
