Come Awa in: The Albion Bar

Welcome to the best little bar in Stirling. A traditional Scottish bar with regulars from every walk of life.

Join in the debate at the bar or sit and enjoy your pint in peace. This small friendly bar backs up its friendly welcome, great service, superb beer and fantastic and great value food with regular live music featuring the best local bands. Jam nights ease more reluctant performers on to the stage and are open to aspiring new talents and trusted old hands alike.

We rely on our bar staff to deliver the company welcome as our most important asset because the bar sinks or swims according to their efforts (they made me write this.) This cheerful crew have a wide experience and can smile in the face of most adversity.

The Albion Bar is a purpose built traditional Scottish pub which has been in business since 1864. Situated in the heart of Stirling, it is just a couple of minutes away from both the train and bus stations. With a diverse and international clientele, it is the ideal bar to relax with a quiet beer or get into the ethos of the bar by joining the debate at the counter. The Albion bar excels in the promotion of local bands and free entertainment is available on Fridays or Saturdays featuring the best of Central Scotland’s musicians.

Like the Albion (The Bino’s) we have also moved up a league and our staff are trained and ready to give a warm welcome to anyone who they meet during the next season. Nominated and gained the Best Bar None award in 2008 and 2009, which reflects our outstanding service and efforts to please both locals and tourists who happen to stop by for the banter!
